It sits at an altitude of 1400m offering excellent skiing and boarding from early December until late April. Nendaz is just over the mountain from Verbier and just 160km from Geneva airport (1 1/2 hours by car / 2 hours by train into Sion) It is a pretty village with outstanding views of the Valais region of Switzerland. Unlike many resorts Nendaz is alive all year round and in Winter hosts various world cup snowboarding as well as ski races. During Summer there are beautiful walks along ancient bisse, Mountain Biking and Golf to name but a few. It really is the ideal adult and family playground. The full area lift pass gives you access to Mont - Fort 3350 mtrs, Verbier, Siviez Veysonnaz, Thyon, La Tzoumaz and more, with some of the finest off - Piste in the world. * There are no large hotels so no large tour companies to crowd our slopes. Private Lessons (With Montagne Magique) Montagne Magique is part English-run, and provides private ski and snowboard lessons that allow clients to maximise contact and learning time. Rates per summit fot the mountain guides depend on the official Swiss index of summits. Ecole De Parapente CH-1997 Nendaz Lift Passes Lift passes can be provided the day you arrive. There are two levels of lift pass available - the Printze area (covering Nendaz, Siviez, Thyon and Veysonnaz); and the complete 4 Valleys area pass (required for the Mont Fort cable car and for skiing over to Verbier).
