1. THE BOOKING FORM
All bookings must be made on our Booking Form and signed by the party leader who must be over 18 years of age. For group bookings, there should be one single payment. The party leader is responsible for making all payments due to us and guarantees payment of the full cost of the holiday for all those mentioned on the Booking Form and of others whom he may later add.
Once we have received your Booking Form and all appropriate payments, we will confirm your holiday by using a confirmation invoice. A binding contract between us comes into existence when we dispatch this confirmation invoice to the party leader.
Telephone quotes are subject to written confirmation.
2. PRICE GUARANTEE
Whilst we reserve the right to change our prices, your confirmation invoice is fully guaranteed and will not be subject to change.
3. DEPOSITS
A deposit of £100.00 per person is payable at the time of booking. In the case of group bookings there should be one single payment.
4. PAYMENT
The balance of the holiday cost is payable 8 weeks before departure or full payment if booking within 9 weeks of departure. If we do not receive all payments due in full by this date, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled by you. In this case the cancellation charges laid out below will be payable.
More than 8 weeks before departure, deposit is non-refundable
6-8 weeks before departure, 50% of full chalet price is non-refundable
4-6 weeks before departure, 60% of full chalet price is non-refundable
2-4 weeks before departure, 80% of full chalet price is non-refundable
0-2 weeks before departure, 100% of full chalet price is non-refundable
5. AMENDMENTS BY YOU
If you wish to make an amendment to your booking after the contract is formed we will do our best to do this. Amendments requested within 8 weeks of departure may result in cancellation charges as laid out above.
6. LIABILITY
Chalet Christy undertakes to provide the holiday as described on the web site. However, should circumstances beyond our control arise, Chalet Christy will not be responsible, including, but not limited to, failure of mechanical and electrical equipment, acts of God, war, civil disturbance, acts of Government, strikes, or industrial action. Chalet Christy is not responsible for any misunderstandings between the guests and third parties. In the unlikely event that Chalet Christy has to cancel your holiday prior to the date of departure, the client will be notified and a full refund will be made.
Chalet Christy cannot take any responsibility for injuries to guests, or damage to equipment and/or third parties, however caused.
7. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITES
The client must undertake to behave in such a manner as to not disrupt the enjoyment of other guests staying in the chalet, or prejudice the reputation of us with our other customers, its suppliers, staff or local residents. The holiday of any client or party in breach of this clause may be terminated immediately and without compensation and we will have no further contractual obligations to them. Clients shall indemnify us in respect of all and any claims made against us as a result of damage caused to the chalet or any of its contents. All losses, damages and breakage's, whether accidental or deliberate, will be charged to the client and must be paid for before departure from the chalet.
8. COMPLAINTS
During your stay, in the unlikely event that you should have cause for complaint, please inform the chalet owners immediately. If the problem cannot be resolved, you must write to Chalet Christy, Route de la Telecabine, Haute Nendaz 1997, Switzerland , no later than 28 days from departure.
9. INSURANCE
It is a condition of booking that all clients have appropriate insurance at the time of booking.
10. SMOKING
Chalet Christy has a no smoking policy throughout.
11. TRAVEL
Clients are responsible for making their own travel arrangements and must ensure that they hold valid passports and the necessary visas.
